The 30th annual Letter Carriers' "Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive" will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 2022. It is the largest one-day food drive in the United States.
Postal carriers will place a note inside residents' mailboxes the week of the food drive asking for store-bought, non-perishable food donations. Residents who choose to participate should place items to donate inside their mailbox. Carriers will then transport donated items back to the post office for later distribution to area food pantries. The Bread of Life Food Pantry will receive donations from the Etna, Glenshaw, and McKnight post offices.
As part of this food drive, the Bread of Life Food Pantry is requesting products in sealed containers with future expiration dates. Suggested donations include canned and jarred goods.
Participation in this local food drive is greatly appreciated and valued by the Bread of Life Food Pantry as well as the shopping clients our pantry serves. Thank you in advance to all residents of the North Hills who are able to give!
